I listened while doing clean up after the morning rush. Enjoyed your comments and agreed with it all. (Im gen x) Iโ€™ve been having issues with my eldest with phone use recently and, because of your comment, I see I it would be a good idea to involve my her in creating guidelines as a mature, driven and thoughtful 15 year old. I have been acting a bit as a dictator. Also, my very mature 13 year old recently made a comment โ€”see, this is why I donโ€™t talk with you more, you donโ€™t listen! Itโ€™s hard for me to get excited about press on nails. Her superficiality frustrates me but I suppose the listening is the more important task to maintain those bridges of communication. Thank you again and I look forward to how this will translate into writing exercises and study of language. Iโ€™ve used your individual literature study guides as supplementary work for my eldest as we are an American-Italian family living in Italy.

Hi Julie! Great to see you! I am watching this as a recording. How about using this format as a place to troubleshoot with parents specific issues they are having, like an office hour?

Yes, that's one of the ideas I have as well! Will get through the book launch and then consider ways to do that. :)

Hi Julie, this was a really fun and helpful live! As a millennial, I definitely appreciated your insight, and your acknowledgement that it'd be a hot take ;) Thank you for sharing your wisdom. And I really loved, "You can't do it right, but you can do it well." <3
